Vikram never influenced Abhishek

Actors Vikram and Abhishek who worked together in Raavan, have played the two central characters in the movie. Vikram got to play Abhishek’s role in the Tamil version Raavanan. When asked about this, Vikram said that he was never influenced by Abhishek’s acting and vice versa. In fact, both the actors were not present at the shooting spot to watch the other. Vikram also added that director Mani Ratnam never insisted that both of them should be present at the shooting spot.
The actor clarified that the only time he got to see Abhi playing Beera was when they had scenes together in Raavan.

Vikram to team up with Gautham

There are reports that Chiyaan Vikram will team up with ace director Gautham Menon for an upcoming Tamil film. They are currently busy with two projects each.
Chiyaan Vikram is awaiting the release of director Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan (Raavan in Hindi and Villain in Telugu). He is also shooting for Selvaraghavan’s film and Boopathi Pandian’s Vedi.

Gautham Menon is currently busy with a thriller with Sameera Reddy and next will be directing Ajith’s 50th film. After the completion of these projects, the duo would join hands for their next project which will reportedly go on floors in early 2011.
